Shelby Cronin

I found this photographer when I searched the key words; double exposure photographer into Google, I then went onto his webpage, which included many different styles of photos. The photographer I have chosen to do an in depth study on is called Andre De Freitas, I have decided to research this because I found his work quite interesting because he has used high contrast black and white images, I think that this looks quite effective as the p kind of blend together which gives them more of an eclectic feel/look. This photographer also uses colour images on top of black & white images, I think that this looks quite good as the contrast between the different shades give the image depth, this also gives the photo texture as there is an inconsistency between the textures within the two photos. When I come to do my own pieces I will experiment with editing them to black and white, as I think that this could look more interesting with the darker shades of black and grey.
